As it made clear under the "About Us" head, Rehoming Racehorses - A Life After Racing is not a charity nor it is deemed a Not-For-Profit organisation.  We are very mindful that some NFP organisations have not acted quite as expected by the public and that there are, correctly, warnings about such set-ups hence we do not wish to be perceived as being such. Rehoming Racehorses is a rehoming programme which we have established which works alongside our training and rehab business, Equine Management and Training.

However we run our rehoming programme in a very similar way to other rehoming establishments which do have charitable status. That we are accredited by RoR and the BHA as well as supported by such owners as Shadwell Stud hopefully will go a long way to assuring people of our best intentions.

Whilst we do ask for a donation upon intake of a horse such amount does not come anywhere near to covering the costs involved thus in the main it falls to our business, Equine Management and Training to meet the costs

A number of individuals have asked how they can support our work and the businesses featured on this website have kindly paid for advertising. If you would like to become a Supporter you can either opt to make a one-off donation or set up a monthly direct debit [which seems to be the most popular option] or if you would like to promote your business/products on this website please ask for details.

Numerous people have very generously sent us turn-out and stable rugs which are always gratefully received as we get through so many ..... not all the horses are very good at taking care of their wardrobe.   At times we do actually receive a surplus or rugs that are too small so we pass these to other charitable organisations.

Thank you
